John Darcy,
At the time of your death John I was just alittle over a year old. I never had the opportunity to meet you but feel as I did know you from all the stories my Mom and Grandmother told me about you. Following in your footsteps myself and brother both did our 20 years on the Department and thank God are now both safely retired. I do think of you often John and did always pay visits to your mother while working in the 71 Precinct. May God hold you John til me meet in his presene. Rest in Peace Cousin.

Rest in Peace Patrolmen John Darcy. During my career I investigated crimes in the 28 Precinct and know the area well. I believe we both were in the same Academy class of 1964. I pray God is watching over you and your family. You will never be forgotten.
