Thanks to Chris Cosgriff and the ODMP staff for adding the new updated Sea Isle City patch to Mick's information! And for doing it so quickly after I sent it in!! You guys are amazing. I can tell you your efforts are truly appreciated by all survivors. This site is a tremendous tribute to all of our loved ones.

The men and women of the SIC PD designed the new patch. In doing so, they included Mickey's badge number (14) in the Law Enforcement Memorial Emblem (blue badge & rose).

I cannot tell you how much it means to me that they are remembering Mickey this way. I'm thankful Chief Kennedy has taken over from the former Chief and grateful that they honored Mickey after nearly 12 and 1/2 years.

Mick will truly NEVER be forgotten by anyone. That does my heart good. I miss him every moment of every day no matter where I am or what I'm doing in life. He'll always live on in my heart.

As I leave my house every day, I see your picture on my wall. Your photo gives me inspiration as I return to work each day. It is hard to believe that it has been 12 years since your death. As I sat at the site today were you died, all I could remember were the good times we had. I could not believe that only eight hours after we returned from Ocean City, MD. you were no longer with us. You are sadly missed and your memory will always be with us. Thanks for all the memories.

I stop by this website often after the death of two dear friends with the NCSHP (Troopers Calvin Taylor E.O.W. October 3, 2001 and Anthony Cogdill E.O.W. May 30, 2003).

We all grieve over the lives lost in the line of duty. I hope you can find some comfort knowing that there are countless prayers that go out for your family.

These are senseless tragedies that never seem to stop. God Bless the men and women who continue to serve their communities in our great Nation.

...Gone, but never Forgotten....

Thank you for your service. I hope that in the next few years I am given the honor of wearing a badge, just as you and all of our fallen heroes have proudly worn. I'm glad that since your death, this memorial and your memorial at the National Law Enforcement Officers Memorial have been created to keeping your memory alive. Hope your family has been doing well over the years, rest in peace.

Mike,

I can remember the day you died, I was very sad and upset. I listened to the events unfold over the police radio, and was hoping and praying that you would be alright. That was not the case. You were an inspiration to everyone who knew you. God's speed Mike. You are missed.

Officer Cullinane, you must have been a very special man. I noticed on another reflection that your widow is married to a police recruit -- since she is willing to do it all again, that means you must be very special. Thanks for your service! Rest in peace.

Each time an officer dies in the line of duty, no matter where, when or how, it brings it all back. Just wanted to remember you, Mick, here on this memorial site that allows your memory to live on always. You are missed dearly, but always fondly remembered.
