Your heroism and service is honored today, the 88th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Constable Crenshaw, I’m sure that working in that county and no doubt knowing many of the people you had to deal with as criminals wasn’t an easy task, but you did it and you gave your life in the pursuit of what was right. I hope those who committed this heinous act faced true justice for their crimes, if not in this life, then in the next. You are a hero and you are not forgotten.
