Captain Craw and Officer Mallory were true heroes that we all can emulate while we wear the badge and go on patrol. I talked about you at length while doing a History Channel program on Railroad Police. I was a Captain for the NYS&W RR at the time I did the TV presentation and the "battle" that took your life took place in my rail yard in (1912) Edgewater (Shadyside), NJ. I am now the Police Chief for the Morristown & Erie Railroad. Rest in peace, you are remembered always. Chief Greiner M&ERR PD

Captain Craw, today marks the 94th anniversary of your murder. No union can justify murder in furthering its goals and the events of that day are a disgusting blot on an otherwise proud history of organized labor. You and Officer Mallory were protecting a vital part of the American economy and it has always taken a special breed to be a Railroad \cop. I thank you for your efforts and pray for your descendants.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.

Each day I try to read the ODMP. Today I read your story. Any officer who dies in the line of duty will always be remembered for his sacrifice. You died a hero. Rest in peace Captain Craw.
