Your heroism and service is honored today, the 61rst anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.

Dear Grandfather,
Although my mother never knew her father, you were still in her heart untill her death. My brother and I were told stories of a great man who served his family, friends, town, state and his country. I have been left your duffle bag, photos, letters home and various metals. I will keep them safe and pass along legacy to my children. Your memory lives on in us ans we are proud to be of the Courtney clan.
