Rest in peace Officer Cook. Thanks for your courage. Perhaps you were related to Metro-Dade Florida Police Officer, William C. Cook, killed in the line of duty on May 16, 1979.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 103rd anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Rest In Peace

"And I heard the voice of the Lord, saying: Whom shall I send? and who shall go for us? And I said: Lo, here am I, send me."

Isaiah 6:8

You answered the call valiantly. We will always remember you, your courage, service and sacrifice. You paved the way before us who walk the beat today. Thank you. Job well done. Go with God.

God speed my good man. It has been a 100 years since your death...but no less tragic. I will think of you the next time I am in San Francisco.

Rest Peacefully.
