Reflections for Police Officer Gary C. Coe

Mother's Day-2006

Still love you always and forever... we had a young and crazy love, but it was true and pure LOVE. three roses.. you me and Jaime...
I still carry all that in my heart... will forever.

We have two grandchildren now. A boy and a girl. Darien and Brielle. I think she looks like you. Jaime is such a great mom. I am so proud of her. It seems like yesterday that she was born.

We miss you terribly honey... everyday.

I'm still watching out for your mom. We're still great friends.

You are so loved, and missed Gary.

Heaven opened up it's door
To you one cold dark night
And when you opened up your eyes again
There shone a glorious light
And a band of Herald Angels came
And gently led you to a place
That's filled with peace and love
And majesty and grace

And a hush fell over Heaven,
And the Lord smiled from His throne
He said, Because you took me as your King
I now take you as my own
And I give to you a mansion
On a street that's filled with gold
There is no pain, or war, or fear
Only laughter fills the corners here...

And with that
He bid you go...

Love you honey, Always and Forever...

Gary,
Today is the 20th anniversary of your entering the NYPD (01/09/86)and on this day, like all other days, you are remembered by those that were lucky enough to have known you. You made the Department a better place. Eternal peace Gary.

It has been a long time since your death but you should know that your sacrifice did not go unnoticed and is remembered and respected today, over 16 years later. Rest in peace.
