Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.
Thank you for your heroism.

To The Person Who Posted The Picture Of Leonard Clay;

Thank you so much..This was my Mom's uncle...She never met or knew much about her birth family. Her mother Officer Clay's sister died quite young leaving my Mom who was just a baby. For what ever reason her birth father placed her in foster care ...She discovered she was not their natural child. She only found her true heritage after raising her own family. I would love for you to contact me and let me know of your relationship to Officer Clay...

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 86th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered.

Rest In Peace.
