Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Patrolman John Chapman

Officer John Chapman, today on the 84th Anniversary of your sacrifice,I the DEOA Historical Association, and I also in Law Enforcement,I am District #30 CT Justice of the Peace Magistrate, have made it a point to honor you today. I was not sure if you had worn a uniform,or not. We did a Remembrance ceremony in actual 1930s era typical Country Constables attire and equiptment here today. We would like to pay our respects to him at a graveside location, We donot know where that is at this time. Hope to soon. RIP, End of Watch- February 16th,1938.

I am privileged to be among the first to leave a reflection Your heroism and service is honored today, the 74th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered.
