THANK YOU FOR YOUR SERVICE, REST IN PEACE.

It was my honor to research newspapers, magazines, online & books to find your ID CARD Photo. I found this photo of you in a NY Times article from 1973 about your heroic sacrifice. I felt it was necessary to have a photo on this website so that your family & friends can remember you. Rest Easy Hero! Always Remembered!

NO one knows the reality of what we do and try to forget. Just doing the "right thng" is not always the way we do our jobs. Society brings us to our level of competency.

Your heroism and service is honored today, the 39th anniversary of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Officer Carroll, today marks the 34th anniversary of your death. At times, the job of a Court Officer looks pretty sweet and cushy. More often than not, I know it's not and you folks are facing the same dangers as anyone else. You proved that with your life. You are a hero.

God Bless and may you continue to Rest in Peace, Brother.
