Lynn Ann, as Police Week is upon us we all reflect on the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice including Frank. If you are in NJ, the police memorial in Ocean Grove is in late May. Frank is remembered with all the LE brothers and sisters in NJ that made the ultimate sacrifice.

I am the great granddaughter of frank and my daughter was the one who found this page. I insisted my maiden name carry on even tho i had no sons...Brianna Carine Jones. I do not have any momentos or pictures of him but i do of his son and the firearm he took from his enemy in japan. The Carine name has always served this country one way or another. I see that another Frank has followed in his footsteps too.

For the last 30 years I have attended the NJ Law Enforcement Memorial starting back at the Garden State Arts Center to the Great Auditorium in Ocean Grove. A special place is in my heart for my grandfather Nick's brother Frank who made the ultimate sacrifice in 1934. We can all rest easy knowing Frank and all the brothers and sisters watch over us from the heavens. To all, stay alert and stay alive!

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 78th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace

Hello, I didn'T remember at first that my grandfather had any brothers or sisters. Its been a long time.I am not sure if I put my email address down on here if its a good idea. If you think so please let me know. I do have some articles and pictures of what had happened to him. Always wondered what happened to the man that was involved. Nice to hear from another Carine.

I am a 29 year law enforcement veteran, and would love to learn more about Frank, who was my grandfathers brother (Nicholas Carine). I am now assigned to DEA Hqs. in Washington, DC, and recently saw his name on the L.E. Memorial. I appologize that it took me this long to reach out. I would love to hear from one of Frank's immediate family members.

Hello,

I never got the chance to meet my grandfather, but my dad Frank talked about him alot. I have lots of papers and some clippings from the newspaper as to what happened. It was really nice to see his picture here. Wish I could have gotten more things about him, but was told the Library in Elizabeth had had a fire. Many articles were lost.
Thank you for putting him on here.

Sincerely
Christine Iseman (Carine)
