PROTECTOR'S PRAYER
Lord, you have already won the battles I will face today.
I rest in your sovereignty knowing that you have appointed me for this duty.
The power that created everything lives in me through your holy spirit, let me fear knowing.
Give me the courage of David, strength of Samson and the grace of your son, Jesus.
While I am away protect my family, let me return unharmed. Prepare their hearts should today be the day I meet you face to face.
Let me serve the people of this blessed country and community with a servant's heart, being quick to listen, slow to speak, and slow to become angry.
Lord, you have given me great responsibility, help me to protect the vulnerable and innocent.
When the moment calls, allow me to show compassion and humility to those that cross my path.
When faced with evil, let my actions be definitive, impartial, and above reproach.
Protect my brother to my left and my sister to my right as we respond fearlessly, without hesitation to the unknown.

To the entire MPD, I stand with you as you grieve the loss of Officer Kendall Corder. Im a Registered Nurse that is heartbroken by the senseless death of this young Officer. Im saddened by the disregard for human life all over this world but especially here in the city of Milwaukee. I keep asking myself, how did we get here? When did young men & women become so heartless, angry, & disrespectful? Most importantly, how do we turn this around? My heart is heavy for the family, friends & fellow police officers at this difficult time. I will pray for all those impacted by Officer Corder's death. I am so worried for my 4 year old granddaughter that has to grow up in such a hateful, & ugly society. I pray that this Officers death will not be in vain & that criminals will begin to put down their guns & begin to walk & live in peace & love. We have to get back to respecting & loving one another. God bless each & every one of you & please remain safe. My condolences to the Corder family.

Being a public servant is no easy feat. Whenever a call for service comes upon them, they're always there to answer the call! No matter the call or investigation, these individuals that work in law enforcement deserve much, much, more than a pat on the back, they deserve are gratitude.
I used to volunteer with the Milwaukee Police Department as an Auxiliary in 2014 and was reminded of how brave these officers are! Every single day they protect us 24/7! Please do everything you can to keep this officer in your prayers! Officer Corder was taken from us way too soon and was brave!
