Deputy Henderson, a police officer, should be remembered not by how he died but by how he lived! A brave man has left to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you for your military and 33 years of commitment to law enforcement, your family, and the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office. Our country is a little less safe without you. SOLID as they come. A TOUGH guy who stayed on the field when he was injured. Like in the old days, HIS WORD meant something. The kind of guy you searched for to talk to at family functions as you knew you would always come away with a smile and some life knowledge. The kind that always had a home that was ALIVE, welcoming, and warm. MODEST warrior like your Father and Grandfather. Always running towards the FIGHT. RESPECTED by all. You helped pave the way, LEADING by example, and I will never forget that. Always GAVE all you had to the job and loved your FAMILY above all, just like your Mom and Dad. You always wore the badge with PRIDE and were always an INSPIRATION and source of PRIDE to those at the “kid’s table” as well as those that walked the beat before you. I have your back from here Brother.
