Sheriff Diaz, our world is full of evil people, and yet, for many years, you dedicated your life to protecting others that they may be safe. May God immerse you and them in His Divine Mercy. Rest in peace, good and faithful servant.

Thank you for your selfless 20 years of distinguished and dedicated service to your community Deputy Sheriff Ignacio "Dan" Diaz. Such a terrible day when we lost so many years of combined service and knowledge in a collision that could have been prevented. The next generation of motorcycle cops are now cheated of valuable nuances.
Rest easy Ignacio, rev that bike and ride into those beautiful sunsets. Your tour has been completed and you have left behind your legacy. Your name will be spoken outloud and you will never be forgotten. Prayers for your families of Blood and Blue and for all of the others who came to know and love you.
