Reflections for Officer Phylicia Carson
I first saw Officer Phycilia Carson when I started watching Ozark Law. I immediately connected with her because of her pink blinged out in car computer and her pink hand cuffs. She was a sweetheart when it came to dealing with people and always offering a way out of taking them to jail. She had such a light about her and she spoke often of her husband who was also in law enforcement in the neighboring county. She spoke of her 6 children which I share in common with 6 children grandchildren. During the last episode when she joined in a pursuit of an illegal drag racer who crashed into the guardrail. It was then when the officer who arrested the driver that I noticed him continue to ask about Officer Carson. When he couldn’t raise her he knelt and prayed. It was shortly after we were informed it was our sweet Phylicia who had perished. I broke down in tears as I thought of her infectious smile, her husband and her children. God needed a good officer and mother in heaven to take care of the other fallen officers, children and babies who went to heaven before her. I pray for her husband, her children and her fellow law enforcement family. She will be so very missed. As a retired firefighter/paramedic I’ve dealt many times with accidents involving law enforcement and those I knew. My heart goes out to all of you. May God give you strength, comfort and peace during these difficult times.

My wife and I were big fans of Ozark Law! We loved watching Officer Carson on there. Our hearts were broken learning that she had passed away in that fatal car accident.
May God heal the hearts of her family, friends, friends, and her fellow LEO’s brothers and sisters.
RIP P/O Carson

The loss of Officer Carson is without doubt heartbreaking for her family and community and also many of us who were blessed to “meet” her through Ozark Law. We may be strangers, but her candor and obvious love for her family and community endeared her to us quickly. It was a real joy to watch her work and see her desire to serve and protect . She was an admirable, down to earth example not just for women, but all who serve. I’m sure she will be sorely missed. Prayers for her family and her fellow officers.

Officer Carson was truly amazing. My wife truly loved her kindness, her humility, and yes, her pink handcuffs (pink is her favorite color).
We both cried at the loss of Officer Carson. As a family of law-enforcement and military we know the utter loss that one feels with the passing of a friend. We never knew her in person, but we feel like we got to know her through Ozark Law.
Our hearts go out to the Ozark PD, her family, and our law enforcement brethren around the country.
God Speed, Officer Carson.

My heart goes out to all officers, her family and the community of lake Ozark and Osage Beach. I was in shock as I watched everything unfold and could t hold back the tears. To watch officer Riner stay professional while you could tell he was internally falling apart was so hard to watch. Everyone stay safe .

This was obviously a huge tragedy and shock to those of us who have become fans of Ozark Law and the great work these officers do. It was clear that Officer Carson was a big part of of O.B. and loved her work. Thank you for your service. I am so sorry that your End of Watch happened. It wasn't clear, due to the editing of the episode what exactly happened so as I'm on-line reading this account how ironic it is that this "fan" lives in Toronto (Canada) and this accident happened on Toronto Springs Creek Road. RIP Officer Carson.

I fell in love with Officer Carson and her pink pens and handcuffs and MDT watching Ozark Law. I was in complete shock when it dawned on me that the episode I was watching was 'End of Watch' and horrified to realize it was Officer Carson killed during the pursuit. I literally burst into tears and I didn't even know her. It was so obvious how much she loved the job and her coworkers loved her. I am sure she'll be sorely missed. May God continue to watch over Grant and their children and families.

We’ve been watching this show since it first aired. We were really impressed with all the officers but she was one of our favorites. We were watching the show tonight when we found out of her accident. It has really upset us both. Our prayers go out to her family and all her fellow officers. This is really sad.

I could do nothing but start crying at the TV when I watched this last episode of Ozark Law. Officer Carson was a solid, honest American doing her best to keep the people of her community safe. Her death is a loud, jolting reminder of the risks our nation's police officers accept each and every day. May God Bless Officer Carson and her husband and six children.

As a fan of the series “Ozark Law,” I was always impressed with how professional and empathetic Officer Phylicia Carson was in her dealings with the public, regardless of the circumstances. I always got tickled with her penchant for pink. Just watched the episode where she lost her life in the line of duty. I admit I had tears streaming down my cheeks. Deepest condolences to her family and friends as well as her family in blue. Thank you for your service Officer Carson.

Watching Ozark Law I learned of the tragic death of Officer Carson. Her passing on 8/31/24 marked the one year passing of my 32 year old son, which was also my husband and I’s 33rd wedding anniversary. Needless to say, I cried beyond control. Her husband, children and extended family are in our thoughts and prayers.
Godspeed Phylicia, you are missed ~ even by strangers.

Was totally in shock setting and watching Ozark Law when it was told that Officer Carlson had lost her life. There was nothing but being in shock and tears. We who watch the show only have gotten to know her through the show. She seemed so genuine and you tell and see the love for her job but more for her family. You could tell she loved the job and helping the community which she worked for. Because of Officer Carlson every time I see pink cuffs I will think of her. I'm sure her children and husband were very proud of her and loved her very much. The police family have truly lost one of the best to suit up. I will miss watching her and want her family to know I'm praying for them each and everyday. I'm also praying for her family at Osage and some special prayers for Corporal Stephen Riner as you could see the hurt all over him. You will be missed Officer Carlson. May you rest in peace.

I just watched Ozark Law and it was the episode where Officer Felicia Carson lost her life. It is so sad to see a officer lose their life trying to make sure a criminal is caught and taken off the streets so their town people are safe. My heart breaks for her and her husband and children and all the other family members that have to now live without her. And her beautiful smile. God bless them and God bless her and the other officers that worked along side of her to make our lives safer. God Bless You All.
I'm not an officer
I am just someone who was watching the Ozark Law
