Reflections for Police Officer Darron Lee Burks

Officer Burks, i'm sorry for what happened to you nearly a year ago, as your murder was absolutely vile and evil, as the individual who took your life wasn't human, but a demon in disguise as a human. There's alot of evil and nonsensical people in this world, and that individual was one of them. But rest assured, your brothers in blue took him out, as he was destined to be put in the ground to begin with, as he had no meaning to this world other than to cause harm and trouble. Although your killer did try to flee and get away, karma did catch up to him and take him out, as he was an absolute coward. But all of that aside, i'd like to focus on the more positive things about you and your service overall as a man and officer. From what i learned about you, is that you were originally a teacher for awhile, until you had the calling to get into law enforcement, which is what you did, and i'm grateful you chose to continue your service to others by helping and serving the public. Not only did you educate others for a living, but you protected and served your people, being the guardian angel everyone needed in times of difficulty and roughness. And although you only had 8 months on the job, it's a shame it was taken away by a man who wasn't only evil and vile, but someone who was possessed and pumped with hatred and wrath that it's unbelieveable. The fact he went out of his way to harm and murder a police officer out of hate is beyond me, but it's something that may never be solved. But honestly, it's a good thing he's in the ground and receiving his punishment in the afterlife, because dogs like him deserve to be put down for their actions. But overall, i think that you were a good man despite me not knowing you, since you were a man who was sent by God to make a difference to your community and your people, to show them that their really are people out there who care and willing to serve and protect the people that's in their city. I believe despite your career being short, you managed to make a further impact on your community by ensuring their safety, and making sure that when they return home, you're there on the streets protecting them and preventing anything bad happening to them, in which you succeeded in doing so. On top of that, i believe your mother is an amazing and strong woman, since i saw the video of her at your funeral speaking to those who were there, and it makes sense that a woman like her created a spectacular man and raised a hero, since you really were blessed and made by God in his image, as he lead you to do great things in life and make more than a difference. But in my eyes, it's more than good that the evil coward who took you away is also dead, since as i said before, he was a demon in human form, who was the type to lurk around in the night to cause mayhem and harm to others, but was thankfully put down by your brothers and sisters in blue, as they were able to suppress him from causing further damage to anyone around. But all in all, and as of now, may you rest in peace knowing that your service is cherished deeply, and that you made a larger impact during your 8 months of service, which says alot as many people knew who you were before your passing, which tells me that you were one of a kind. May you rest in peace knowing that your service as a mentor, a teacher, a guide, a man, and as an officer will forever be remembered, and as long as others speak your name and remember you, you aren't truly dead as you live on in the minds and hearts of others. Rest Easy Mr. Burks

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.
