The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

To the Family,

I was read the End of Watch today at my Academy Training and felt the pain of loss very personally today.

It is my personal prayer that you would experience peace and comfort in this time of pain. I pray that you would see the future with hope, and the past with joy. I pray that each family member would have this moment be a moment worked for good, not evil. Would this season be one where you are carried by the hands of those around you.

With deep respect and profound admiration.
