Lieutenant Hoosock:
Thanks for your distinguished, brave and honorable service. Your service in the volunteer fire department and bomb squad says a lot about who you were. You never hesitated to respond to the potentially dangerous service call. You could have stood back and taken a different role because of your rank, but you placed yourself in harms-way to help your fellow officers contain the scene. I hope and pray that your family and collogues can somehow get through this tragedy, despite your loss, knowing that you died doing what you loved. You will not be forgotten.
