On behalf of the 68 dedicated volunteers associated with POINT 27 across the United States, we would like to offer condolences for Sergeant Thomas A. Sanfratello. Please know we are eternally grateful for Thomas’ service and his ultimate sacrifice.

To honor Sergeant Sanfratello, POINT 27 sent 27 Thin Blue Line Dog Tag Necklaces, engraved with “Blessed are the Peacemakers for they will be called children of God” Matthew 5:9, to the Genesee County Sheriff's Office in Batavia, New York for Thomas’ partner and fellow deputies. POINT 27 also sent a Folded Flag Necklace engraved with “Greater Love has no one than this; than to lay down one’s life for one’s friend” John 15:13 for Sergeant Thomas A. Sanfratello’s family.

POINT 27 is a Non-Profit organization with a mission to strengthen and encourage members of the Armed Forces, First Responders, and their families, by sharing scripture on Dog Tags and Jewelry called Shields of Strength.

We will never forget and we are forever grateful.

Almighty Heavenly Father, grant comfort to the family of Sergeant Thomas A. Sanfratello, of the Genesee County Sheriff's Office, New York, as they mourn his death in the Line-of-Duty. Since You are Judge over all, O Lord, please guide the civil authorities charged with the investigation of this crime that the evidence may be carefully considered and those responsible be brought to justice. Give the family, of this fallen hero, patience in their waiting, and lead them to eventually forgive, even as You have so graciously forgiven us. In Christ Jesus, and by His authority, I pray. Amen.

Dear Sheriff William A. Sheron, Jr:

I hope this letter finds you well, though I understand it is an incredibly tough time for you and everyone connected to your department. I am writing to extend my heartfelt sympathy and deepest condolences for the loss of Sergeant Thomas A. Sanfratello, a brave and dedicated professional.

The news of Sergeant Sanfratello’s death has deeply saddened me and my entire family. The sacrifice that he made while protecting and serving your community is a testament to the selfless and courageous nature of law enforcement officers like him. We can never truly comprehend the risks and challenges faced by those in law enforcement, and we are forever indebted to them for their unwavering commitment to keeping us safe.
