Deputy Leonard, a police officer should be remembered not by how he died but by how he lived! A brave man has left to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you for your 2 months of law enforcement service, to your family, and to the Meigs County Sheriff's Office. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!

When we downloaded this app in the academy to keep up with fallen officers I never would have imagined to see one of my brother classmates on here so soon. When we take this job we understand that we may pay the ultimate sacrifice to do what we love for our community. RJ Leonard was a good man, husband, father, officer, and classmate. Class 90 will forever hold you in our hearts brother.
