Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Airman Trinity Leeann Reinhart

Heavenly Father, You are Compassionate and Merciful. None of America's Peace Officers ever leave home without the fear of not returning at the end of their watch. It is a fear that is lived with daily. Unfortunately, the worst does sometime come to pass, and lives are left shattered. Lord God, bless and keep the hearts and souls of those who have lost loved ones in the Line-of-Duty. Wipe away the tears from their eyes. Soothe their pain and bind up their wounds through the wounds of Your beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ. In His mighty and holy name, and by His authority, I pray. Amen.

"Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God." [Matthew 5:9 ESV]

We must never take for granted the great price our Nation's sovereignty exacts. Every day the warriors of the USAF Security Forces risk their lives to protect our missile defenses, working in all weather, training for all threats. This job is not without risk and not without sacrifice.

Thank you Airman Reinhart for defending the Force. We were at Lackland AFB at the same time during training. May God comfort your family and comrades.

Taken too soon, I am a veteran of the USAF Security Forces, and it is my honor to ride with you on my wrist in the Police Unity Tour this year. The bracelet I wear signifies your dedication to service, Defensor Fortis Airman!
