Why do we never hear federal level politicians commenting on a community's loss of a Police officer ? The taking of the life of an officer should be a national disgrace. The thin blue line is the line between law and order and total anarchy. The sacrifice made by Deputy Clinkunbroomer is a loss for the entire nation. In the past few years, there have been too many officers taken from our communities under similar cowardly circumstances and it needs to stop. There are too many families grieving.

Ryan! I never thought I would ever see you here. When I saw it was you on the news, my heart dropped almost entirely. You were one of the nicest and kindest people I had the privilege of knowing. It’s not right that you were taken from us so soon and like this. I remember the days you were on WRTV, and the positivity around you was infectious. Words can’t describe how your parents and fiancé and family must be feeling but I will always keep you in my prayers. Thank you for being you and being such an awesome person, even then.

RIP and may we meet again in heaven some day. Much love, S.

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, but tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.

On that day, I had just been doing stuff when I got an alert that a deputy in my county has been suffering a medical emergency. Turns out he was shot, and his fellow comrades raced him to the hospital to make sure he could live another day, but it didn't happen. I have a close alliance with the LASD Walnut/Diamond Bar Station and have personally known Captain Tousey and a SAO Deputy that works there.
I wish it was a nightmare, but what has done has been done. The LASD is one of my most respected law enforcement agencies, for they have a good reputation in my city.
Today while I was going to school I saw a LASD Deputy continuing to patrol. I know he is doing what Deputy Clinkunbroomer loved for so long:to serve and protect this county.
Rest easy brother, we will continue your work while you rest peacefully.

Deputy Clinkunbroomer, a police officer should be remembered not by how he died but by how he lived! A great man has secured a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you for your law enforcement service, to your family, and to the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
