Officer Francone,

I'm very saddened to hear of your passing. You were a true hero. Even after sustaining severe injuries, you had the presence of mind to shoot back at your attacker and you even succeeded in stopping him from escaping and hurting or killing others. Even in death, you potentially saved lives. Rest in peace. I will pray for your family, friends, loved ones and colleagues.

Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends. - John 15:13
