O God of Peace, so many of America’s Peace Officers who are on the front lines to protect us never make it back home to their families. We pray for these fallen law enforcement officers, Lord God, who gave their lives for us. We pray for the families of these heroes, who have to now endure life without their loved one. Lord God, society tries to move forward, but there is always bloodshed occurring. We approach Your throne of glory and grace to beg of You for peace. Lord God, bring peace to this land – the United States of America. We plead for Your divine intervention to quiet our hearts and unify our communities. Stop the violence that occurs amid our cities. We thank You for all America’s Peace Officers who have died protecting us, and ask that You send an everlasting peace so that America’s Peace Officers on the streets may be safe and return home to their loved ones at the end of their assigned shifts. In Christ Jesus, Your blessed Son, I pray. Amen.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9 ESV]

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]

Anthony, here is another case of "I never imagined it would be you" yet it was. You dedicated your life to the profession and your children, you served as an Honor Guard member, paying the greatest level of respect to officers that. gave their everything for us all, but now you. I enjoyed working with you, knowing you, and friendship most of all. Rest easy now and watch over all of those still out there doing the job. Francone family, may God hold you tight as you all go through this horrible loss. Family, always remember all of the good Tony has done here in his short time on Earth. You will be missed sir.

Francone and I attended the academy together back in 2003. He was the funniest guy!

We kept in touch throughout the years through chatting on the phone a couple times a year or posting on each other’s Facebook posts, and now I’m so thankful we did. I say this so that YOU will reach out to the people you care about. Take a moment and tell your friends and loved ones you care even if it’s on social media.

God bless Francone and ALL police officers. I will miss Francone and so will the world. We lost a good man. Sadly, his kids have lost a great, committed father. I’m so sorry.

I’ll watch a St Louis Cardinals game for you, Anthony. Go Cards!
