Reflections for Special Agent Patrick Bauer

Lord God of unfailing love, to those families in our beloved nation, the United States of America, who are suffering in the wake of the loss of a law enforcement family member, help us to provide support. Allow us to be their rock and fortress in a time of immense pain and uncertainty. Help us to keep them safe and nourished in their time of grief, suffering beside them as we move toward healing and reconciliation. Lord God, in Your compassionate mercy, hear my prayer. In Christ Jesus, Your beloved Son, and by His authority, I pray. Amen.

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

No words can express the sadness in my heart. You were an amazing man, husband, father, and HERO!! You will never be forgotten. For all of your family, friends, and co-workers, who grieve your loss, I pray for peace and comfort.

Revelation 21:4 (NIV)
He will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death shall be no more, neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain anymore, for the former things have passed away.” And He who was seated on the throne said, “Behold, I am making all things new.”

Psalm 147:3 He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.

Ecclesiastes 3:11 He has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man's heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.

I love you Patrick, I will miss you & your smile, your laughter and all those long dragged out Risk & Phase 10 games!

Law Enforcement Officers willingly put on a uniform every day and protect our communities, states, and nation and some end up making the ultimate sacrifice.
Heavenly Father, I pray for the families of all America’s Peace Officers who have been killed in the Line-of-Duty and I thank you for their sacrifices. Bless the lives of their families so they might find healing. Help their law enforcement departments and agencies support their families. Even though their deaths might have been senseless, make something good come out of these situations so that their departments, agencies and communities, counties, states or nation, the United States of America, in which they lived and worked, might be stronger because of their lives and their deaths. In Christ Jesus’ mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9 ESV]

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]
