My wife and I are saddened by this news. We travel from Indiana to Tennessee regularly and know that stretch of road well. Our hearts go out to the family, friends, and colleagues who are gripped by the loss of this public servant. As we travel I-75, we will never forget this true hero. Thank you for serving and protecting. May our Lord and Savior welcome you into his eternal presence.

A cop's cop doing the job that so few are called to do. You can see the pride he has for his profession in the pictures of the awards he was presented for his service.

To Deputy Caleb Conley's wife, children, parents, and co-workers, rest assured that the country and the community he served appreciates his sacrifice. He will not be forgotten.

This was a brave soul who took on evil face-to-face. I have worked with many others just like him during my 38 years of being a LEO. This was a warrior who stood between that evil and the good citizens of Scott County, KY. Here's a SALUTE to Deputy Conley!!!

My heart bleeds heavily today. My tears run heavier for the loss of this fine young man. As the mother of two policemen, this isn't fair to have to read. I pray laws are put into place that gives officers a reason to put their lives at risk for people that do not respect or appreciate them. If you harm a police or government official, there should harsh penalties. This is happening far too often and not being addressed with heavy consequences. To the family, My heart aches and cries with you. I am so sorry. In 2008, I wore these shoes myself and it is a ache that never heals. My thoughts are with you all. The Agency, the family, the friends, and the world.
