Officer Shisler,

This has been a hard week for law enforcement. you are one of three young law enforcement officers who lost their lives. What makes your passing even harder, is that law enforcement is the family business in your family. You lived heroically and died heroically. In spite of being seriously wounded, you had the presence of mind to return fire and killed the suspect, thus preventing a dangerous, armed criminal from running free in the community. I pray that God would graciously comfort and sustain your family, friends, loved ones and the colleagues you worked with. Rest in peace, young man.

Greater love has no one than this, that a person will lay down his life for his friends. - John 15:13
