Reflections for Police Officer Geoffrey Redd

Brothers and Sisters: Do you not know that you are the temple of God,
and that the Spirit of God dwells in you?
If anyone destroys God's temple, God will destroy that person; for the
temple of God, which you are , is holy.

Lord Jesus, as we watch America’s Peace Officers succumb to the wicked and evil in this world, it becomes difficult for us to pick up and move forward. Our communities are on the brink of exploding with tension. In light of the peace officers who are no longer with us, I pray for endurance for our communities and law enforcement agencies. Carry us through this time of strife, that through our struggles, our bonds may grow even more unbreakable. In Your mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9 ESV]

This one hurts, because here is a man that most likely could have retired due to the critical injuries he suffered from a prior on-the-job injury. But he chose instead to return, to serve his community, his nation, and his fellow brother & sisters.

A cop's cop with standing in this community.

To the family and co-workers of Officer Geoffrey Redd please accept my sincere condolences on the passing of a fine man and a hero by every definition of the word. He will not be forgotten.

God bless you, Officer Geoffrey Redd.

Sgt. James Mair

I am so sick and tired of the evil in this world. I have no idea why people do this c^@p. I didn’t know Officer Redd (I live in MI). I just happened upon this site. I want to thank you sir, from the bottom of my heart. You are the absolute very definition of a HERO! God, please take care of this young man. To all you useless idiot pieces of you know what, I hope every last one of you get what is deserved. I wish I could help the officers get your you know whats.
