God Bless you and your family and Department .I am beyond words that this THUG was on the street. Prosecutors, judges or anyone who is responsible for releasing these useless waist of breathing air should not be ABOVE THE LAW. I was shot twice in the line of duty in November 2018 and had to retire, by a THUG who was released from prison and also had a violent past . He was killed in our exchange of gunfire. Brothers we have stand up and STOP this .if you are reading this ,you are my Brother and I love you . Everyday look in that mirror you and getting dressed say this ," TODAY ME AND MY BROTHERS WILL GO HOME ,SOMEONE ELSE WILL NOT.

I never met you, but when somebody notified me on Discord that you were possibly shot, I freaked out almost immediately. I was thinking about the condition of your health when suddenly, I was notified that you didn't make it. Man, I wished for an another ending that was better than the terrible news I had received. I wish that you would have recovered from the hospital after taking that bullet, but sadly, this is the truth I have to deal with. I also watched your comrades from RSO/RSD, CHP, Ontario PD, Riverside PD, and SBCSD pursuing the evil that committed the senseless act of violence against the Sheriff's Office on CalTrans CCTV cameras. I heard about your story putting Service Above Self just like the motto of the Sheriff's Office. To me, you were a great man of courage and shined the badge proudly. As a resident of a city near OC, SB, and Riverside Counties and wants to be a police officer one day, I proudly thank you for making the ultimate sacrifice. I'm sad and angry that this event happened, but I just don't know what to say...
Rest In Peace Deputy Cordero. We will hold the line tight.

The murder of any LEO is appalling. What makes Deputy Cordero's murder so appalling is that the suspect who shot and killed him should NEVER have been out on bail, especially since he FTA'ed pending a sentencing of 25 years to life. Another example of criminal justice that is more concerned about the criminal and not the LE community or community in general. The judge who authorized this suspects bail needs to look Deputy Cordero's family in the eye and tell them what he (judge) was "thinking". These posts need to be sent to this judge. May the Riverside SO, family and friends of Deputy Cordero find peace and healing over time. May God help provide comfort to all who knew and grieve for Deputy Cordero.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died but by how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family, and the Riverside County Sheriff's Office. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!

Thank you for your service Isaiah. It was always a pleasure talking with you and joking with you as you drive by my work on patrol. I did patrol with this amazing man as I am an armed security at Arrowhead Federal Credit Union in Jurupa Valley. I will always remember you hounding me about drinking monsters and how bad it was for my health. But yet you drank Red Bull. I will always remember our laughs. #IGOTUR6 Bro!!!! Love and miss you bunches.
