Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Isaiah Cordero

My partner was shot and killed after a traffic stop in Natchez Ms and I cared for his canine (target) who would not let anyone near my partner but me . Danny Burke’s died on the street but his faithful Sheppard continued to work . At least his fellow officers took care of business when they got the fugitive stopped!! Only in California ! May he Rest In Peace

And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, "Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?" Then I said, "Here am I! Send me." Isaiah 6:8. God rest your soul and thank you for your service and sacrifice. Few are called to this profession and those who are will always be remembered, especially those who pay the ultimate price for the safety and security of others. God bless you and your family.

RIP Sir. Having said that......This is senseless and really angers me. Why would anyone want to risk their life when the CJ system favors the criminal??? (Especially in liberal states) He should have been under the jail for stabbing the K9. I'm LE in Louisiana and a year from retirement!! I can't wait. I was so happy to hear this morning of the mass exodus taking place at NYPD. Retire, live your life, and take care of your family. This job ain't what it used to be and I can't see why anyone would want to start a LE career in today's conditions.

I am so sorry brother. The murderer should never been out on bail. This call bail reform. The legislators needs to rethink this behavior.

Heavenly Father, I pray for the families of all America’s Peace Officers who have been killed in the Line-of-Duty and I thank you for their sacrifices. Bless the lives of their families so they might find healing. Help their law enforcement departments and agencies support their families. Even though their deaths might have been senseless, make something good come out of these situations so that their departments, agencies and communities, counties, states or nation, the United States of America, in which they lived and worked, might be stronger because of their lives and their deaths. In Christ Jesus’ mighty and holy name, I pray. Amen.

“Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9 ESV]

“And I heard the voice of the Lord saying, “Whom shall I send, and who will go for us?” Then I said, “Here am I! Send me.” [Isaiah 6:8 ESV]
