Thank you for doing what Police Officers do everyday, standing in the gap between good and evil even when it meant grave danger to yourself, and the ultimate sacrifice. You will never be forgotten by your community or your country.

He was an amazing officer for our community. An irreplaceable figure of courage, always ready to put himself in the front line of danger to protect his fellow officers, and the citizens, who desperately need police officers as valiant as Officer Thai. You reached out to those you knew consistently to check on their well being. You kept us safe for 23 years of your service; and God knows he gained a formidable angel. You made unimaginable sacrifices for this city, and the ultimate sacrifice for your brothers and sisters on the force. Justice will prevail in the light of your name. We will continue your watch to operate and keep this city safe. May you rest easy sir, and condolances to your family who lost such a beautiful soul so early.
