A police officer should be remembered not by how he died but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family, and the Jonesboro Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!

This is so sad, a young man who wanted to devote himself to Law Enforcement and the Physical Critia kills him. While we pray for him and his family, we must also call for a reconsideration of the Physical Training and Entrance Criteria; it is out of control. Law Enforcement is not the Marines. In all of my 40 years have I had to run only a couple of times and I was in remarkably good shape and ran the mile in 5:04 minutes, and I never had to climb a wall or a rope, I did all that in the military and most police work is done at a walk. We pray that our Lord will bless this family and take this young Officer to his place in the Honor Guard for our Lord with all of the other Officers, Deputies, Troopers and Special Agents who have been called to Glory. God Bless.
