My heart is broken for your family. It is bitter comfort, I am sure, but we WILL do our best to care for those you left behind. I pray that God will grant you eternal rest and joy in a far better place than the one you have left behind. I never knew you, but you were my brother, and I grieve the loss. Faithful Forever….

Officer Mazurkiewicz, your beaming smile tells it all. You took
great pride in your work, and you were so dedicated to it. I’m so sorry that it had to end this way. I’m so sorry that you were taken away from your loved ones, friends, and colleagues. I wish things were different, but unfortunately, there are a lot of people who don’t respect the police.
Rest peacefully now, in God’s loving embrace. Heaven has a new angel.

My heart is broken by your passing. Thank you Tony for doing your part in trying to make Rochester safe. How tragic this is that you were part of the honor guard when Officer Daryl Pierson was murdered on September 3, 2014. You buried him and now your being buried. I pray that you, Daryl, Nolan, Ryan, and Bill look over us. You are loved and will be missed!

It is sad to see an Officer, wise from his many, many years of service and almost ready to enjoy retirement, fall to a murderer's bullet. We pray for his soul and for his dear family. May his children take pride in being able to say: "My Daddy was a Policeman." Nothing greater can be said of the deceased. May his family be blessed by Almighty God to assuage their grief and with the confidence that their Officer will now take his place among his Fallen Brothers in the Honor Guard for Our Lord. They will see him again in a better land. God bless!
