I didn’t know you and have never been to the US, but as an ex UK Officer of nearly 24 years service, I see all officers as brothers and sisters in blue. I am sorry to hear of this and the loss that will be felt by your family and your department.

May you rest in peace and know that you did your duty, thank you for your service

The true measure of a person
is not found in the
might of their arm,
their wealth
or their power –
it is found in the strength
of their character.

There is no greater testimony to
ones character, than ones
willingness to sacrifice all,
in the noble quest of
providing protection to all
whom they serve.

Collin was my best friend, my best man, my brother in the Marine Corps and my brother in blue. Our girls went to the Marine Corps together and we always stayed in touch. Collin was an amazing man, father, husband. I can’t believe you will no longer be in my life. You had an infectious smile and laugh that lit up every room you entered. Love you brother, our retirement wasn’t supposed to be like this.
