No words… just a deep pain in my heart. I reminisce to when I came on the job at 21 years old with eyes wide open and laser focus regarding what I signed up for as a newly sworn New York City Police Officer. Here I am 35 years later and I’m truly saddened that this young officer has been robbed of the ability to begin to experience what it is to be a member of this department to the extent that I have, and yet thankful that he was able to experience the camaraderie of working with his partners at NYPD 32nd Precinct.
