Rest in Peace sister and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.

By Jon F. Hooper

"Greater love hath no man than this; that a man lay down his life for his friends."

Superintendent Joe Morbitzer
Ohio Attorney General, Bureau of Criminal Investigation

Sergeant Rittmanic, another sad, tragic day for all of law enforcement as we grieve the murder of someone doing their job to keep the peace. I pray that these two murderers will be brought to a special kind of justice. May God watch over your wife and all those that love and care about you here on earth. I thank you for your brave service to all of us. Rest in Peace, Sister.

Rest in peace. You gave the ultimate sacrifice. Bless all Police Officers for the work we do.

Officer Allen Murawski
Chicago Police Separtment.

December 31, 2021

It's such a shame that two people flee after killing you and wounding your partner, Officer Tyler Bailey.
This just goes to show that no call for a Law Enforcement Officer is ever truly safe, standard, or routine. Evil always lurks and can strike on the very minute that you least expect it.

I hope Bradley heals as a community, that your department finds strength in this time of urgency, that Officer Bailey recovers, that your wife knows she's not alone, and that justice is prevailed for your sacrifice.

Rest Easy Sergeant! You're gone, but not forgotten!

We offer our heartfelt sympathy to the family, friends and colleagues of Sergeant Marlene Rittmanic and we honor her distinguished service to the cause of justice and peace. Sadly, our nation has lost one of its finest citizens, a community has lost a friend and protector, and a family has lost an example of character and courage who they will love and respect forever.

To the family, friends, and colleagues of Sergeant Rittmanic, I would like you to know that a lot of people pray for you, and my hope is that their prayers will give you the strength necessary to move on.  Just as you were always with her when she walked the beat or patrolled the streets, know that she will always be with you - wherever you may be.  In the days to follow, may you be strengthened by the fact that Sergeant Rittmanic is a woman distinguished by exceptional courage and will always be admired for her brave deeds and noble qualities. You, your family, and your sacrifice will never be forgotten.

Thank you for your service, you had devoted your life to helping people. I don’t think people see the writing on the wall, we need God back in our lives in order for the world to turn around again. Turn to God and pray, the Blessed Mother wants the rosary said which has power, we turned God away and so he thinks we don’t need him for protection.❤️
