Supervisor Garbo, there is much evil in this world and you put your life in danger each and every day of your dedicated selfless service that your community may live in safety. Your reward in heaven will be abundant. May God immerse you and your loved ones in His Divine Mercy. Rest in peace, good and faithful servant.

Mike and I went to Firearms Instructor School together from the Phoenix Division. He was as squared away as they come, in every way. His goal as a trainer was to always make everyone better, and he truly cared. I am so saddened by his passing and pray for peace for his wife and daughter. May you rest in peace brother.

Down these mean streets a man must go who is not himself mean, who is neither tarnished nor afraid. He is the hero; he is everything. He must be a complete man and a common man and yet an unusual man. He must be, to use a rather weathered phrase, a man of honor—by instinct, by inevitability, without thought of it, and certainly without saying it. He must be the best man in his world and a good enough man for any world. -Chandler-

Rest in Peace Brother. You will never be forgotten. Keeping you and your family in our prayers. God bless.

My heart is breaking for this family and I wanted to donate just a small amount in hopes that if enough of us did it would help his family as they prepare for a life without him. I am so grateful for officers that keep us all safe. My prayers are with this family and I hope that all the men and women that keep us safe are safe today and always.
Sincerely, Joyce Peterson
Ps. If someone could help me find a way to donate I would gladly send my friends and family to donate as well.

I don’t even know what to say, Mike. So many people learned interdiction from you, myself included. You were DEA FAST in Helmand while I was USMC LEP. All of us here at Metro Nashville PD are at a total loss. You are sorely missed my friend.

I feel how weak and fruitless must be any word of mine which should attempt to beguile you from the grief of a loss so overwhelming. But I cannot refrain from tendering you the consolation that may be found in the thanks of the Republic they died to save. I pray that our Heavenly Father may assuage the anguish of your bereavement, and leave you only the cherished memory of the loved and lost, and the solemn pride that must be yours to have laid so costly a sacrifice upon the altar of freedom.

Yours, very sincerely and respectfully,

Abraham Lincoln
