I am so sorry for you, for your family and your LE family.
Any death of a LE officer is so incredibly sad and profoundly etched in our hearts.

I thank Group Supervisory Agent Garbo for his sacrifice and dedicated service to the citizens of Arizona and to the great people of the United States. I've worked often with the DEA, in conjunction with my various assignments and have always found the DEA to be a top notch organization, with outstanding professional agents, who greatly enhanced our ability to detect and arrest drug traffickers. I also attended DEA's Drug Unit Commander's School in Quantico--again a great experience. I pray for Michael Garbo's family and to all of those who endured the tragic events that day.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Drug Enforcement Administration. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
