Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Christopher Jay Bachelor

Tomorrow morning, October 22, 2022, I will have the privilege to ride in a Charity Event on a Adaptive Handcycle, hosted by the Rotary Club of Lake Murray Florida. Today, I was assigned the opportunity to Ride in Honor of Deputy Sheriff Christopher Bachelor; His dedication and devotion to God, Country and Family. I have researched his legacy and found a man who inspired, led and set the example for many to follow.

I am inspired by his story and most humbled to ride my bike to Honor Deputy Sheriff Bachelor and send my prayers to his family, friends and fellow Officers.

Sincerely, Amir Pishdad, Jr, Lieutenant Commander, (RET), US Navy UDT/ SEAL Team (20 years). Melbourne Florida

Rest in Peace brother and watch over us. We will protect and serve from here on in your honor.

I fight not for glory or fame, for they are momentary. I fight for those who can't. I fight for Justice. I fight for the oppressed and the down trodden. And if I should lose my life for these just causes, then I have no regrets, For I serve to protect the innocent. It matters not where or when, for evil knows no boundaries. Be it fire, flood, or the threat of tyranny, I will not flee. Justice is my weapon. Faith is my shield. Hope is my armor. Cry not at my passing, for it was my Honor to fight for you. Shed not tears of sorrow, But tears of joy, for now, I stand with God.

Heavenly Father, we pray for the families of all Law Enforcement Officers who have been killed in the Line-of-Duty and we thank You for their sacrifices. Bless the lives of their families, friends, and comrades so that they might find healing. O Lord, please help the law enforcement agencies support the families of their fallen. Even though their deaths might have been senseless, make something good come out of these situations so that the law enforcement agencies and communities in which they served and lived might be stronger because of their lives and sacrificial deaths. In Christ Jesus, we pray. Amen.
