Our Lord, who sees all and knows all, will reward you abundantly for your courage, dedication and selfless service. My heart sank when I learned of Greg's untimely passing. I still remember his goofy laugh and our roadtrip from Pine Bluff to Fort Benning.

Greg and I met and became instant friends during Basic Training. We were on the same squad in 4th Platoon, A-1/50th Infantry.

After Basic, we both went to 2/18th Infantry for our regular duty stations. He was in Echo Company and I in Charlie. The last time I talked to him was about one week before I separated from service.

My thoughts and prayers are with his family, Blood and Blue.
