Jon you were a great man. I always knew I had a friend to talk to when we were on shift together. You were always upbeat and never had a foul word to say. When I left the PD you were one of the first to wish me well. It kills me that I will never hear your voice again. Rest easy brother. I’ll see you on the other side.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Joint Base Lewis-McChord Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother!
