Bill was a soft spoken officer , I don't think in his 25 yr career I ever heard him raise his voice. I was a dispatcher from the time he came on the job, until he left way to soon, I am in touch with his wife Eileen and this thin gold line with the thin blue line never breaks,

Detective Sullivan was a kind gentle soul who loved his job and was proud to be part of The Yonkers Police Department. Detective Sullivan “Sully” was promoted from patrol to the DD then to SIU. When the pandemic hit all units received the order to return to patrol which he did without hesitation. A Cops Cop he will forever remain humble and kind
