Ryan
Thanks for your sacrifice and service to citizens of San Diego. You and your wife no doubt were very special indeed to have made detectives the same day. It says a lot about who you and your wife were. No doubt the best of the best. I've worked with San Diego Detectives in the past and they were always the best. Rest assured that the law enforcement community will forever honor your sacrifice and dedication to the profession.

Detectives Ryan and Jamie, our Lord took you back to Him as your lives are just beginning. Only He would know. Our world is full of evil people, and each and every day of your dedicated and selfless service, you put your lives in danger. Your reward in Heaven will be abundant. May our Lord immerse you and your loved ones in His Divine Mercy. Rest in peace, true and faithful servants.

Both of these genuinely outstanding human beings were in the academy (92) with me. Ryan became a good friend and we worked quite a bit together in Western Division. I have never met two more hard working and incredible people in my life and it has been an honor knowing them.

I wish there was more I could say but nothing will alleviate the void created by this permanently devastating loss.

I will miss you my brother and sister

“92!!!…BETTER THAN YOU!!!”

Rest easy and in peace my friends
