Officer Trivett,
On today, the 1st anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for the citizens of the state of North Carolina. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. There is no tougher job in Law Enforcement than that of a Corrections Officer.

Almighty and eternal God, we ask You to be with the family of Correctional Officer II Allen B. Trivett of the North Carolina Division of Adult Correction and Juvenile Justice. Even as Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, was moved to weep over the death of his friend Lazarus, so we know You are touched by the tears of those who mourn the loss of Correctional Officer II Allen B. Trivett. In Your divine providence, fill the aching void in our hearts with Your comforting presence and grant peace through the assurance of Your love and care. In the mighty and holy name of Your beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

During His three (3) year ministry, the Lord Jesus Christ proclaimed, “Blessed are those who make peace. They will be called God’s children.” [Matthew 5:9 GW]
