SDM Bennett,
On today, the 1st anniversary of your death I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country-not just as a Law Enforcement Officer but also when you served with the U.S. Army. And to your Family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I served with Hugh at the sheriffs office, we were patrol deputies. Then it transitioned into the Unified Police Dept Greater Salt Lake.

Hugh served as an operator on the SWAT team and finally as a Crossing Guard Coordinator. He loved his job almost as much as he loved his wife candy. I know because her sister is my friend.

RIP Hugh, you are missed.
