Officer Evans, we are stunned by these events. Whatever this man's motives were, they were not good enough and nothing about his actions could ever be justified. I'm also disgusted by the politicians (including at least one from OUR home state) who are currently trying to turn this into a political statement.

God Bless you, Brother and may your eternal rest be ever peaceful. Those who know and love you best are in our prayers.

Our prayers are also going out for your fellow Capitol Police Officer who was injured. May his recovery be full, both mentally and physically.

Ptl. Jim Leahy, Jr.
Harvard University Police Department

Rest Easy Brother. Thoughts with his Family, Friends and colleagues.
Lest We Forget their bravery and sacrifice. RIP Hero
