Reflections for Special Agent Louis Henry Aguirre

Hi Lou,
I’m so, so sorry I never got to speak to you again after you left San Francisco. I though of reaching out you on Outlook, but I was too embarrassed about the changes that had taken in my career. That is a mistake I will always regret. I’m so sorry I never re-connected with you. You remain a great friend to me, as well as a most competent colleague I could always trust. I will miss the 5am trash runs, your friendship, great company, and the way you always “NewYorked” my name! LOL!! That will always stay with me. Work was fun with you! Most importantly, thank you for always treating me with respect & as an equal SA. More men need to follow your lead with respect to their female coworkers. Then again, you respected yourself. Thank you, and goodbye for now.

Almighty and eternal God, we ask You to be with the family of Special Agent Louis H. Aguirre of the United States Immigration and Customs Enforcement Division. Even as Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, was moved to weep over the death of his friend Lazarus, so we know You are touched by the tears of those who mourn the loss of Special Agent Louis H. Aguirre. In Your divine providence, fill the aching void in our hearts with Your comforting presence and grant peace through the assurance of Your love and care. In the mighty and holy name of Your beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

During His three (3) year ministry, the Lord Jesus Christ proclaimed, “Blessed are those who make peace. They will be called God’s children.” [Matthew 5:9 GW]
