Leave a Reflection

Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Cornelius Bernard Anderson

Hey brother, been thinking about you a lot and think about you every night I get out there on patrol. You would be in tears with laughter knowing I finally buckled down and became a family man after all that time we spent working the jails together and me saying I would never get tied down. Rest easy bro,

Almighty and eternal God, we ask You to be with the family of Deputy Sheriff Cornelius B. Anderson of the Harris County TX Sheriff's Office. Even as Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, was moved to weep over the death of his friend Lazarus, so we know You are touched by the tears of those who mourn the loss of Deputy Sheriff Cornelius B. Anderson. In Your divine providence, fill the aching void in our hearts with Your comforting presence and grant peace through the assurance of Your love and care. In the mighty and holy name of Your beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

During His three (3) year ministry, the Lord Jesus Christ proclaimed, “Blessed are the peacemakers, for they shall be called sons [children] of God.” [Matthew 5:9 ESV]
