I had the privilege of working with this great guy at the Jennings Police Department. Winston would help anyone he could. He is greatly missed by all. Just before this unfortunate incident, he was in the process of trying to help my Mom to have a chance to see me. I'm glad I got a chance to know you, and thank you for all you have helped me with.

Almighty and eternal God, we ask You to be with the family of Deputy Sheriff Claude W. Guillroy of the Jefferson Davis Parish LA Sheriff's Office. Even as Your Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, was moved to weep over the death of his friend Lazarus, so we know You are touched by the tears of those who mourn the loss of Deputy Sheriff Claude W. Guillroy. In Your divine providence, fill the aching void in our hearts with Your comforting presence and grant peace through the assurance of Your love and care. In the mighty and holy name of Your beloved Son, the Lord Jesus Christ, I pray. Amen.

During His three (3) year ministry, the Lord Jesus Christ proclaimed, “Blessed are those who make peace. They will be called God’s children.” [Matthew 5:9 GW]
