My thoughts and prayers are being sent to the Sacrament County Sheriff's Department, to the citizens of Sacramento County, and to the family of Deputy Gibson on this tragic loss. My thoughts are also are with K9 Riley for sacrificing his life in the protection of others. I am very sure that Deputy Gibson served the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department with distinction just as I am sure that he served the citizens of the US that way during his time in the Marine Corps. It's heartbreaking to hear about another parolee killing a deputy sheriff and his K9 Partner - Riley, and shooting another deputy as they're doing their job and trying to protect their community. What a broken system and a fallen world. My prayers go out to Deputy Sheriff Adam Gibson's family, friends, and coworkers at the Sacramento County Sheriff's Department. May our heavenly Father embrace the Gibson family with his healing hands, and may he walk with them through this period of loss with his grace and peace. Deputy Sheriff, Adam Gibson, thank you for your service to our nation and your community. Rath De' Ort.
